FAQHow do I put
these images on my web site?
If you want to put these images on your own Web site, R2360 will send you the files and provide you with some simple instructions for incorporating the interactive panoramas/tours on your web site. This generally isn’t that hard for someone with basic Web site skills. However, because Web sites are created with different processes and hosted on different types of platforms, you’ll want to ask your Internet service provider for any in-depth technical advice. If you don’t want to host the images yourself, we can also host these files on our server. All you’ll need to do is place a simple link on your Web site (we’ll provide the link for you when your files are ready). When your customer clicks on that link, a new Web page will pop open and display the interactive panorama(s). This web page will actually be hosted on our servers, but we can easily include your logo, name and any other information you might want to display. Will these
panoramas also work for rental properties and apartments?
You bet! Just as they help potential buyers review a home, they can just as easily help renters scope out a potential home or apartment. In fact, this could be a significant competitive advantage for you because many apartment complexes don’t currently offer the interactive experience. How does the
weather impact the quality of the panoramas?
Interior panoramas can be photographed at any time (including after dark with proper room lighting) and in any type of weather (short of a hurricane or tornado, of course!)However, the quality of the exterior panoramas is dependent on the weather and the position of the sun when the photographs are taken. Shooting the photographs for panoramas in the morning and late afternoon generally provide the best lighting and color for panoramas. For example, a home with a front façade that points east or southeast should be photographed in the morning, when the sun is shining on that side of the home. Likewise, homes that face west or southwest should be shot in the afternoon. In addition, the quality of light is generally much better in the early morning or late afternoon. Not to worry though. We’ll work with you before the photo shoot to ensure we capture your property in the best possible light and weather. How long does
it take?
For location-based work, each Interactive Panorama generally takes about 10-15 minutes to set up and photograph. (More complicated shots or custom lighting may take longer.) If you have multiple panoramas at the same location, simply multiply the number of panoramas at that location by 10-15 minutes. Once we finish the photography portion of the project, we’ll take the images back to our studio and prepare the files.Generally speaking, for location-based work, we will deliver the files to you within five business days following the shoot. For product photography, we also try to honor the same timeframe, but that may vary based on the number of products. However, the total project time is dependent upon the scope of the project (single panorama, virtual tour, web design, etc.) and the number of other projects we are working on. We work on a FIFO basis (first in first out), so turnaround time may vary. That said, R2360 will certainly work with you to photograph, prepare and deliver your files in a timeframe that meets your needs. Our ultimate goal is to make you happy. And we’ll do whatever it takes to achieve that. How much does
it cost?
Because each project can be so different (based on your needs
and desires), it is difficult to establish a flat rate schedule.
In most cases, your cost will be based on the following factors:
To give you a general idea of how our pricing works, lets look at a couple of examples:Example #1Floor Plan Virtual TourFor this example, well use a project where a real estate agent is wanting to use a Virtual Tour for a home that she has for sale. The agent has a local upscale home for sale, and would like to have a Floor Plan Virtual Tour created. The tour will showcase six rooms in the home, and the view off the deck, for a total of seven Interactive Panoramas.
